Easy IceSM Cubes Used in Novel Coke Machine
Our Easy Ice machines are being used by The Coca-Cola Company who recently unveiled a vending machine which dispenses customizable soda drinks. These Coca-Cola Freestyle prototype vending machines, now being tested in parts of CA and GA, will carry over 100 beverage flavors and customers can pick from a dizzying array of offerings such as Peach Fanta, Raspberry Coke, or Strawberry Sprite - nearly every Coke product known to man! In fact, many of these flavors have never before been sold here in the U.S. The simple design with a large LCD touch screen interface, has a single dispenser and the beverages from this novel vending machine are being cooled with cubes from our Easy Ice machines. The vending system is connected to a network that monitors choices and provides valuable consumer preference data.
Watch this YouTube clip for a glimpse of one of these prototype soda vending machines. The kids in the video are understandably pretty excited about the new machine they have encountered in their local Jack in the Box restaurant. So excited, in fact, that some of their exclamations and mumblings are a bit unguarded. But you can FEEL the excitement in their video as they "marvel" at this new discovery.
