The Iceologists were thrilled to Chill Out with celebrity chef (and our corporate spokesperson) Robert Irvine at the Texas Restaurant Association’s Southwest Foodservice Expo in Dallas.
Chef Robert is known worldwide for his culinary prowess and his ability to turn a restaurant from failure to success. The Iceologists and the Expo crowd were awed by Chef’s unbridled energy and his accessibility. He signed books for fans, took countless photos, answered questions and gave advice to culinary students. Comments heard around the trade show floor were “he’s bigger than life” and “what a sweet man”.
Sponsored by Easy Ice, Chef Irvine conducted a series of seminars and a lively culinary demo. Chef shook hands and hung out with attendees in the The Iceologist’s booth — the Coolest booth at Expo!
If you were lucky enough to meet Chef Robert at the Expo, you’ll surely enjoy our photo galleries. Do you see yourself in a picture? Please leave a comment. Did you have the opportunity to speak with Chef? If you did, tell us about your experience.
Chef Robert may be the hardest working chef in the industry. He recently had hip surgery yet just a couple of weeks later was in Afghanistan feeding our troops. Between his overseas volunteer work with the military and Southwest Foodservice Expo with the Iceologists, Chef Robert performed his interactive live show, Robert Irvine Live, and taped another episode of his hit series Restaurant:Impossible. He never stops!
Easy Ice is proud to be aligned with Chef Irvine not only because of his expertise in the restaurant industry, but because he is a genuinely caring person.
We’ll be adding more images of Chef Robert at Expo over the next few weeks, so stop by often to see what’s new.
