Get ready to Express yourself! The Experts Express contest gives you the opportunity to show off your management expertise with the ultimate restaurant expert, Chef Robert Irvine!
Chef Robert is taking on a new challenge to help aspiring chefs with Food Network’s newest program, Restaurant Express, debuting on November 3. The winner of this culinary contest will become the Executive Chef at the new M Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
Experts Express! Share Your Insights with the Industry’s Most Successful Turnaround Leader!
In honor of Chef Irvine’s newest challenge we are running a contest of our own. We’re looking for the best advice you would give a chef who’s new to a leadership position. Chef Irvine will personally select the winners based on the insight and relevance to his goal of providing aspiring chefs with the wisdom they need to be successful.
We are looking for cost-saving, time-saving and creative tips that would benefit chefs, restaurant owners and foodservice managers. Foodservice management advice goes further than just restaurants; foodservice in education, healthcare, corporate settings, events centers, country clubs and assisted living are all valid. Go ahead — show off your leadership skills by entering Experts Express!
We’ll give the green light for expert advice submissions on our Facebook fan page on October 28. You have two (2) ways to enter your expert advice submission:

Entrants Must “like” the Easy Ice Facebook fan page to enter through Facebook. Or you can enter your submission as a comment on this webpage.
Anyone in foodservice management (Easy Ice customer or not) over 18 years old is eligible to enter with the exception of: Employees (and their family members) of Easy Ice, Reddy Ice, Ecolab, Hoshizaki and Robert Irvine Inc.
The Experts Express contest is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations.

The Experts Express contest will begin on Monday, October 28, 2013 when the “green light” is given on the Easy Ice Facebook fan page. Entries will be accepted until Midnight (EST) on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
Entries submitted anywhere other than in a comment on the Experts Express post on Easy Ice Facebook fan page OR as a comment on this Experts Express webpage will be disqualified. Entries submitted before or after the contest period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
Entries Must be posted as a Comment to the Experts Express Contest announcement post on the Easy Ice Facebook fan page OR as a Comment on this Experts Express webpage. The announcement to start submissions will be made on the Easy Ice Facebook fan page sometime on October 28, 2013.
Limit two (2) entries per person.
How Entries will be Judged
Experts Express submissions will be judged by celebrity chef Robert Irvine and the Easy Ice Marketing Iceologists (John Mahlmeister and Heidi Alberti). We are looking for the best pieces of advice for foodservice managers in any of the following areas: operations, front of house, back of house, training, sourcing, suppliers, decor, menu design, line prepping, tabletop, budgeting, hiring and general leadership/management advice.
Experts Express submissions will be judged on, but not limited to, the following: Efficiency, Cost-effectiveness and Creativity.
Announcing the Winners
Winners will be announced through the Easy Ice Facebook fan page and on the Experts Express webpage on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Winners must contact Easy Ice through email (email@example.com) to receive prizes.
