The Hoshizaki DCM-500 cubelet ice and water dispenser is the perfect choice for your breakroom or self-serve station. The machine produces 480 lbs of ice under standard temperatures and up to 618 lbs of ice under optimal 70-50 air and water temperatures. You can install this unit on a countertop or any 26ā Hoshizaki stand.
The Hoshizaki DCM-500BAH ice dispenser comes in two ice dispensing systems. Standard DCM-500 models have push button activation which deliver ice or water at the press of a button. The DCM-500-OS features a hands-free dispensing system that senses when glassware is placed below the dispensing zone, preventing the possibility of contamination.
Each DCM model comes with a stainless-steel exterior that repels dirt and prevents corrosion. Every 12 hours, the machine flushes impurities to make sure ice stays crisp and clear.
Cubelet ice is soft and chewable, making it a great choice for patients and small children. Physical therapy clinics prefer the soft texture of cubelet ice because it works well in cold compresses. Many restaurants and delis choose cubelet ice because it retains the flavor of sugary drinks.
