The KM-515 crescent ice maker has been in Hoshizaki’s lineup for many years. Its 22″ width and 30″ height make it a versatile machine. In recent years, customers have shifted to the KM-600M due to its increased efficiency and output over the KM-515. However, the KM-515 is 7″ shorter, which works for customers working with smaller spaces. If you need a solid 450 lbs. of production and vertical space is at a premium, this model is the perfect fit. All KM models produce Hoshizaki crescent style ice, some of the hardest, clearest, and slowest melting ice pout there. KM models form cubes individually, which prevents them from clumping together in the ice bin. Due to their crescent design, liquids to flow over the cube, preventing splashes and spills that cost money. Crescent Ice also fill glasses better than traditional square cubes. Drinks appear fuller in a glass, which customers find appealing. Studies show crescent cubes can save up to 15 percent on your drink yield.
